Itinerary for North East Tour featuring Cheerapunjee and Shillong by #jaysenjx

GUWAHATI - SHILLONG

Drive to Shillong from Guwahati with is around 130ksm and takes around 3 hours of drive. Enroute visit Umium Lake. On arrival at Shillong, check in at hotel. After freshen up visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hyderi Park. Free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.

SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG

Morning after breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee which is around 60 kms and takes around 2 hours to reach. Visit Elephanta Falls, Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls. Overnight stay in Shillong.

SHILLONG -DAWKI - MAWLYNNONG -SHILLONG

Morning after breakfast excursion to Dawki (Bangladesh border) which is around 85 kms and takes 3 hours to reach there and then to Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia. Drive back to Shillong.

SHILLONG -KAZIRANGA

After Morning breakfast drive to Kaziranga for around 250 kms. Nothing much to do at this time in Kaziranga so overnight stay in Kaziranga.

KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - GUWAHATI

Early morning visit Elephant safari. Return to the resort/hotel for breakfast. Later go for Jeep safari. Later check out from hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Free for leisure activity. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

GUWAHATI

Full day local sightseeing including visit to Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple, Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra. Evening enjoy sunset River cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Either Overnight stay in Guwahati for exploring more of Guwahati or leave for Delhi/Other Places .
