Tatapani comes under Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh,. Even through its on the northern side of Shimla but the place is way too hotter than Shimla because of its altitude of 2,230 ft.. Tatapani is famous for Sulpher Hot water spring and a huge dam on Satluj river where you can do many water related activities. The spring water is said to have curative powers that provide relief from joint pain, fatigue, stress relief and skin diseases.

How to reach: Its around 54 kms from Shimla and can be reach in 2 hours. Nearest Railway station and Airport is in Shimla.

Where to Stay: This is a very small place and there are enough hotel, where you can get rooms starting from Rs. 500/-.

Activities: Boating, Shower in Hot Water Spring, River Rafting, Trekking, Mountain Biking along with Satluj River.
